Hey! Look at that! I finished something! (scanner killed the head dress.. it's supposed to be turqoise but... it's not).
Ever notice the strange resemblance anyways? A Gryphon of Egyptian descent...
Gryphons are always respected as the guardians of the sun, of the sky, and in my world, the guardians of the wind as well.
Ra was a majestic gryphon who normally walked atop his hind legs, for the humans respected him more when he stood in this manner (most likely because he broke seven feet plus when he was upright, big guy). He was a readily intelligent creature and indeed as sunny as they said, for all Gryphons are quite optimistic when one is on the good side of the tails. He was also typical of his species in feeling most at home in the mountians, where their wings could stretch and fly. But being in a sunken desert all the time was the reason why he ordered his home (the Pyramids) to be built in such a pointy, mountian-like shape (plus Gryphons are also fascinated by funny, quirky, shiny things like that anyway).
*squee* *bounces happily around the room* Its done! Its done! It looks great!!!!!!!!!!! *snuggles the pretty griffin* great work on the details. especially the gold. ^_^ don't worry about the headdress. It looks fine. I honestly wouldnt have noticed that the blue was just a touch to pale if you hadn't pointed it out.
